Hello there, my friend. This is a lovely 5-7-5 flower entry. I didn't know they had a meaning on which side they wear their flower. Thank you for that and for sharing this great piece. Good luck! ~Kerry

"She's a man's love quest. A search or pursuit that he makes;
in order to find and obtain her. Perhaps this is why he oft-times hurts...he can't find her because of the odds of those despicable gods. But on the brighter side...someday she's gonna give him a break...and let him catch up to her...and together they'll put those devilish gods to shame. There might not be a happy ending...but good things comes to those who wait. Ciao poet. Cordially: rhonnie69.

That's such a wonderful poem and I think it fits the topic perfectly. Also, I like how clear and yet beautiful it is. All in all, I really enjoyed reading this poem.

    Ciao May

    I'm glad you enjoyed the read...Tahiti is a beautiful place and the people are very simple hearted ...placing the flower in the hair is a lovely tradition.

    All the best for the weekend!

Hello Anon
Very good. Oh, if only it was so easy - just advertise your wares: cut to the chase! It reminds me of a hi-tech version the Japanese had some years back, where you programmed a receiver with your 'desired' attributes in a partner and a similar transmitter which you programmed with your 'attributes'. The idea was that, in a crowded area like a club, if a match was within 30 feet your respective devices would light up and you could readily locate each other - still, perhaps the chase is what it is all about...
I wish you well in your contest - you are in form and ready to go.
I also wish you well with your continued writing.
cheers
phill

    I just wanted to highlight this quaint costum which is part of their culture ..Tahitians are very simple people at heart.

    I have never heard of this Japanese practice ...it doesn't seem to be connected to any traditional/ cultural costum.

    It's more similiar to these endless dating sites..a modern method.....listing peoples traits to find your other half ... which has no cultural roots, though.

    Thank you for reviewing my poem and wish you a happy weekend!
