this is really good.
Am not familiar with the Swap Quatrain form of poetry, but you've made it fluid and rhythmic and very pleasing to the ear.
The voice of the cat works perfectly with the painting.
What a good job of combining the two.

You did a super job, Mystery Author, with your swap poem--one of my favorite styles. Your lines read smoothly, the rhymes are great, the swap lines work well, and there is super imagery. I love that this is about the antics of a kitty. I could see everything you mentioned. The last verse is telling--reminds me of a kitty who had much love in his/her life and is now content to enjoy the time left. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully, Jan
