Your (your) mom scolded him gently for not combing his hair.
Another lovely chapter. People don't worry so much nowadays whether potential in-laws and family approve of them, but, as your writing proves, back then it was really important. I'm interested to know whether the reference to your husband having 'episodes' had any relevance, and look forward to reading on and finding out.

Thank you again for another lovely review. We never knew for sure what his sister was referring to and Evan found it upsetting that she said such a thing. He did suffer from migraine headaches and he got the vision interference that often accompanies them so it was probably that.

Introductions of the family always comes immediately afterwards. Glad that you had no complications in meeting the family. Did you ever become a horse back rider and the love for horses?

Thank you again. The last time I got on a horse which was about 15 years later, he knew he had someone who didn't know what they were doing and he ran away with me. He tried to scrap me off his back on every low hanging tree limb he could go under. I stayed though till he settled down.

Good moving on story. You have done well. Now suggestions and spags. In the background, we are left a bit up in the air... I think you ran out of space at the end....continue the story as though I (am)reminding my husband of thing(s) that took place when we [we] ???

She must have been p(s)[h]y(ch)[s]ic...ie psychic

chatted on and on. (New Paragraph after this?? If so, a line space after or add sentence to previous line

when I mentioned i[n](t) at home,

I read this addition to your biography of romance a few nights ago, but my computer was acting up, actually the Internet and it wouldn't let me writing a review. Thank you again for sharing this sweet story with us.

you didn't tell everything you knew as I was prone to do.--so now your character flaw.
"Evan, are you still having those spells." You appeared to ignore the question, but you had to know it rang alarm bells for me.
Great stuff--introducing a mystery and also something I hope he tells you about before you get married!

This keeps the reader interested in his personality.

Again, so much appreciated. Oh yes, we both had plenty of character flaws. Some got tamed over the years and some didn't. I'm still likely to tell everything I know. LOL Thanks again for reading this.

Beth - how funny about the pants!
I also like the concept about learning about people on the need-to-know basis. So often we want to know everything right away ... but discovering who we each are is not a spectator sport ... we have to engage with each other. That's when we really find out who a person is ... and, actually, who we are too.
I appreciate that you are 'remembering' on paper. Families nowadays are only rediscovering the value of their heritage and ancestry. Many times there is very little to be found in the official records. Leaving behind a written 'diary' of sorts is a great legacy for family.
Well done,
God bless and my best,
Relda

Thank you so much for your review and comments. Being on ancestry and realizing there is any way to know much about my family is one of the reason I decided to try to leave a record for my family. I do appreciate your feedback.

I love to read biographies so you had my interest right up there. You are doing a great job with this.
Just wondering whether you could put in some dialogue and more description.
Reading other people's bios would help too, I think.
Just thought I would mention that.

Thank you Drew. When I write fiction, I usually do put a lot of dialogue in. I've thought about doing it here and I appreciate your suggestion. It definitely brings things to life for the reader. I wonder if that would sound natural when your reminding someone of what happened in the past if you would use a lot of dialogue. I'll give it some thought.

I think that if you can write it like fiction in a sense, interspersed with reality, it would make an awesome story.

Hi Beth. I am enjoying your little talk with your deceased husband. It is very interesting and makes me wish my mother or father had done the same for me. It sounds like you married the entire family. LOL Well done dear. Nancy:)

Thank you Nancy for the review stars and comments. I'm into genealogy and I wish all those people who I'll never get to know had left behind something to let me see what they were really like. I hope my children will pass this down to future generations.

I like this chapter about your husband's large family and your memories about meeting them. It is impressive that you felt totally accepted. It is sad that that is not the case more often. I think you meant to say "psychic."

Thank you, Bill. I really appreciate your review and comment and especially thanks for catching the misspelling. I'll fix that.
