You describe his siblings very well. I am a little irked that your husband was, as you said, a need-to-know basis kind of person. Later in the story, you say he served in the Army. Perhaps if you put the fact of his service along with the "need to know" reference it will make more sense. All-around good story. Keep it up.

Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you're still reading this. Of course, before I ever had a date with him, he did tell he had just gotten our of service in that nine page letter he wrote introducing himself. I guess in order to meet me, he felt I needed to know that fact. The need to know comes our over our years together. His family background which isn't in this story contributes to him being wired that way. Maybe I'll mention some of his past history at some point.
