LOL! Yes, the same old, same old can get boring. Your writing flowed nicely. It must be difficult to write something in only 60 words or less. You you got a story!

Thanx so much for your review, Tami -- have a great week ahead! ;) Yvette

You have written about one of my pet peeves. Why do people on elevators and other small settings ignore all the other people that they share a space with? Is a smiled recognition too much to ask? Why do people treat others as though they are invisible?
Good dash, Yvette. You entertained us and made a statement. By the way, did these two dash into a romance or just a new friendship?

You are so right.... it's that 'ignore the population unless they're on the computer screen'... ugh!! Glad you enjoyed this one, MQ -- was meant to be a wake-up call, hopefully...?! ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

I really enjoyed this story! It felt very realistic and there was a real sense of humanity to it. Sometimes even the smallest actions can have the biggest smiles!

Hi there,
I enjoyed this nice little piece. it's a pleasing anecdotal story which one could here as a cute-meet. Sometimes it's the simplest things that have the greatest impact.
very nice

Thank you for your review.

Ah, this is a fun, unexpected little romantic entry for the 60 Word Dash contest. I loved that it wasn't all heavy and wordy, trying to cram a lot of info into so few words. If I had a six left, it would be. Yours :) Good luck in the contest.

Well now, wasn't this just a delightful little 'slice of life'. I can see this as the opening for an excellent romance story, though it stands well on its own, too. Good luck in the contest!

This is a well-written story for the sixty word flash fiction contest. This is a cute tale full of romance, and I would enjoy seeing what happens to them next.
Great job! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

This was nice! A little change in routine is nice. We all have this habit with certain acquaintances that we do certain things casually like clockwork. But this simple act can even lead to a budding romance between the two characters. So, I would suggest you write a short story or novelette which somehow starts a love story with this little thing at the heart of it! It would be nice to see how the two strangers develop a close bond! :-)
Best wishes for the contest and have a good day! :-)

I guess that a merry heart doeth good like a medicine. It was a great way to break the ice and lighten the mood. I think that dialogue can begin to flow when the next encounter occurs. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!
