My - we see so many different forms. I like your poem for its simplicity and also a fine message of what Spring does for you. For me, one muse is the wind in our pines, a warmer breeze, etc.

Hello anon, this is a lovely entry to the Spring....lovely Spring contest. Well worded with good use of metaphor in 'for she would be a sprinkling can.' A beautiful picture that reflects your words - good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

Yes, Spring does inspire me to write. Your rhyming scheme works well, and the image you chose - beautifully portrays the bountiful life and vibrant spark Spring brings to us writers, each and every year. Thank God for it and thank you for sharing.

I love the picture. It could be a picture of one of my friends and her garden complete with her cat.
I am looking forward to Spring but I have no idea what inspires me to write. The last thing I wrote was about Alcatraz. Go figure. :))))
A enjoyed your "Hazel".
Blessings

I really liked the personification of spring, it really made the poem come to life and have realistic themes in it, great job! You have also used a unique form pattern to compliment your writing which worked well!

Spring, the time of rebirth, the time of new birth within the garden. The time of Resurrection in any way you want to interpret it. How fitting that The Resurrection happened in the Spring.

Hello, my friend,
I never read a poem with the hazel pattern. It is very good. I have read a lot of spring poems today and yours is one of the better ones. The presentation is nice. Good job.

This is a beautiful poem about spring, perfect for the spring prompt contest. It is as though you wanted spring to arrive, so you decided to make it arrive on your own. You welcomed her arrival, And coaxed her along until your vibrant colors all appeared. Beautiful work. Good luck in the contest.
