What a wonderful thing for your husband to say. He was validating the work you did at home and the importance you had there. It's too bad more men don't acknowledge that to their wives.

Thank you so much for reading that and such a nice comment. It is appreciated. I indeed had a wonderful husband.

I thank you for writing this. It is easy to slip into a pattern of thinking of myself as of little value. It is a good reminder that God has a purpose for each of us, and He does not create junk. Esther

I enjoyed this, and you are one of the lucky women who's husband understand your value and praises you, most meant don't, I did not notice any errors in the story.

This was inspiring, to say the least. I feel like I am an "only" sometimes, too. I am glad you found your worth. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Stand up and applaude your husband for knowing the woman he married had true value...she wasn't an only. And you are so right when you say we are God's children and he thinks we have value... Beautifully written. thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much for stopping by taking the time to read my work and leaving such a nice comment. My husband always made me feel like I was a queen.

Labels don't define us. You make this point very clearly. We are all beloved children of God. You were fortunate to marry a man who loved and cherished you, and who acknowledged your worth.

What a wonderful story with such a powerful message behind it. You're right, every one of us does have a purpose in life, a reason for being here, but sometimes it's nice to be reminded of that. This is definitely going in my bookcase. I'm so glad I have a six to give. It's well deserved.

I sure enjoyed your sweet bio of when you were young and got married and the experience you had with that rude and disrespectful banker! What a wonderful man you married who does value you and you in turn and encourage others to value themselves as you learned to do! Nicely written!

That is so wonderful to hear since many people don't share the same, positive experience. That's such an inspirational ending, especially for me now since I am facing difficulties in which my value is questioned. It's good to remember that we are all valued by someone.

A very well-written non-fiction prose about your own life and the realization that you mean more to others than you thought you may be. A husband that value his wife that much is worthy of all she does for him.
