Yes I could relate to your words in this poem and got the story to be told in these few lines I enjoyed it you have a good flow in this poem also well done and good luck

Funny the way something like a chunk of ice can sink a steel ship, but a steel ship can't break up a chunk of ice. You would think the opposite to be true... or that at the least it would just knock the ice out of the way... but nope... it's like a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Ship, Iceberg. lol

    Do like your idea for that new game. Except in the 1912 Titanic version, the iceberg wins every time. LOL

    For a history lesson, check out the SS General Slocum disaster on the East River in NYC in June 1904. A greater percentage of people died in that disaster than the Titanic almost 8 years later: ?Only 321 passengers survived from a total of 1,358 passengers. The final death count totaled 1,021. The next largest death toll in the United States would come decades later with 2,974 dead from 9/11.?
