Nice end rhyming. The tone of the poem creates th mood of soft ambience. Interesting how a candle can burn bright and yet create that soft glow that calms and delights us.

Yes, one can't argue with the fascination of a candlelight. Your handful of words designs an arc of light just like the candle.
