This is exceptionally good, dear Papa. I do a lot of reviewing and this contest will not be any easy one. You are a strong contender for the prize. Sending you my best today as always,

There'd be nothing worse than a long standing love to walk out the door, but then, what is love? Those of us that know the love of God know what love really is, we know love. Beautifully written Mike, good luck, blessings, Roy

The author's words are heartfelt, sad, and creative. The reader pondered
on the theme of this poem and it brought me to faith. The poem flows
and connects well. The artwork compliments the words and theme of
this poem. May you be well and safe....harmony13

Hello, my friend,

Your poem is very melancholic and well written. I like the presentation too. The words count is right.

Your few words speak volumes. This is a good entry for the contest; best of luck. Very direct, very powerful yet also a little bit tender. I enjoyed reading this.

Oh, hell, Papa - that's a real powerful 'downer'... what an awesome presentation of heartbreak in only 20 words!! ;) Here's wishing you luck in the contest, sir! ;) Yvette

Oh, how sad that love didn't work out. But at least you had it for a short while. Excellent metaphor with the frail glass which becomes shattered glass once the heart is broken.

I love your poem, so far I think this is the best entry for this contest. I love this expression - dreams
fade to emptiness- it opens the door for interpretation. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

A very well-written twenty word poem about how easily we can break someone's heart or get our own hearts broken when love goes wrong between lovers willing or by accident.

This twenty-word poem, A Glass Heart, has the correct word count and mourns the loss of a love that has had such an effect on a once solid heart.
