Awe! What an awesome story! Cats are weird sometimes. They absolutely all have such different personalities. I had one that got out and I had one of her babies. The cat showed up months later during an extreme cold spell, came in and spent the night hiding and hissing at her daughter. So I guess the feral cat in her just didn't recognize her own daughter. She left again the next morning and I never saw her again. I'm glad your baby found an awesome person to hang out with. Love this cute story!! xoxoxoxoxo

Thank you for the wonderful review of my catastrophic day. I am delighted you enjoyed Catzilla III. I set this series aside for awhile to focus on my novella, but recently felt in the mood for some cat capers. I am deeply honored and blessed by the starshine and kind compliments, too.
Thank you so much, dear one. :))
Sending you my best today as always,

this sums it up, with humor: "why Jackson and I were traveling up the Eastern Seaboard in a small rental truck with two cats in the cab, was a sign of pure insanity. " The reader will quickly identify or certainly agree to the degree they've had experiences with cats. Another situation readers will find themselves in: "I couldn't find my Polaroid to capture the epic event." It's either it was in the car or in the house. The opposite of where we are.
This is a delightful account.

Good story. I could imagine how emotional of handing over what we value much to a stranger as a way of showing appreciation. The memory sticks. Poor Zilla! Thanks for sharing the story. It made a very interesting read.

I don't know what it is about animals and how they chose to warm up to certain people over others. I guess we do that as people as well. I loved the ending. Great job.

Heartbreaking, but you know Zilla was probably well fed and well taken care of! This is a great little story. So real, so true and what NICE people you met. If I have break down someplace without a bunch of cash, I want it to be THERE! Great job, Sally!

Cats and horses are my favorite animals...but I actually like all animals, tame or wild. (Some its just better to say away from.) Love the story and the warmth shared by Abe and Zilla. (I used to watch a Cat Whisperer series on cable and Catzilla is a good way to describe those felines...which later turned into more of a Cinderella-type.) lol

Yes, I guess you would say I am a cat whisperer with these cats. I'm so pleased you enjoyed my recent Catzilla adventures. Once again, I am so deeply honored by your kind words and generous six stars. Sending you my best today as always, Janet dear.

Cute story!
I'd like to see more examples of Zilla's bad behavior and of his taking to Abe. That would heighten the contrast.
Tears spilled as you handed Zilla over? I thought you disliked him. Maybe add something endearing so that we understand that despite his antics, you loved the cat.

Ah, I wanted this to be true, so bad. You made me feel that way with the love and hospitality that you poured out. The only thing not believable to me was the cats being given freedom to roam on a trip. My cats would take off.
I remember the wedding-dress eating cat. I'll never forget him. I'm so glad that you are still doing the Catzilla stories. This one is memorable as well. Your Catzilla stories are good enough to be published.

Well, I am so glad you enjoyed my latest Catzilla. I enjoy writing these and they always make me smile. Some of this is true and some of it isn't, but I just leave you to guess which is which. I'm delighted if it made you smile at all, or cheered your day.

Thank you for the superb review and shiny six stars, dear Debbie.

What a delightful cat's tale, Sally.
Your humor was warm and funny.
I think we can all relate to vehicle trouble, and doesn't it come at the most inappropriate times?
You painted such a quality picture with words that I could picture myself with you.
A side note, you and your husband seem to have a warm and supportive relationship.

Take care,
Rhonda

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and kind of comments. I so appreciate you, Rhonda. I see your name and I just know it's going to be good. I always appreciate your constant encouraging support of my work.

I'm glad you enjoyed Catzilla, as this is probably the fourth one in the series. (I started these long ago and got sidetracked.) I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I though we all needed to laugh a little. :)
