Perhaps FanStory can sponsor some sort of " write a sympathy card " contest for many will be losing someone close.

This is a great idea. I know I worry about my friends on FanStory, especially if they have suddenly gone quiet. Sharing and caring so we can support each other is a great thing to do. Thanks for suggesting it.
BTW: kiwisteveh has a piece out there where he explains what is going on in his area, and he has asked instead of a normal review that people answer with what is happening in their area and how they are doing.
Love that we are coming together and watching out for each other.

Thanks for alerting me to what Steve wrote. I am glad he has shared with is going on in NZ. Some people do openly share and others keep their personal lives quiet so it is worrisome when they "go quiet" as you say. Please stay safe and healthy!

I think this is a wonderful idea. We need to pray for each other because there many believers on FanStory and I know prayer is powerful. I'm glad you are doing this. Although we've never met these people,we do pour out our souls on this site and we may know each other better than people we see on a daily basis. The community is like family.

Hi Helen, Oh, I do hope that Dolly's son-in-law is alright. The majority of people do recover so that's on our side. The one thing that we have to remember is that the press focuses on the darkest part, not the light. I could quote you some flu stats that would curl your toes and put this is a whole new perspective. I might just do that too... but not here. I think I'll drop Dolly a note. :)
