The sunny spot - I totally agree - we're finally getting a bit of spring - a bit late - but it's something. Two days in a row of sunshine - how good it feels and I empathize with your cat - wanting to stay in the sun.

Gee, you must have saved up your stars to shower on me! Thank you so much. I'm very pleased my writing appeals to you.

I haven't been on fanstory much lately - busy with other things I guess. We've now had three sunny days in a row - whoopie.

A very well-written 5-7-5 suite about finding a sunny spot when summer days turns to cooler Autumn days that become shorter while the sun moves further away.

I enjoyed your poem for the challenge, LisaMay. Your 575 suite reads smoothly with good imagery and is informative. I like the color scheme and love the kitty. I remember when you wrote/mentioned about the loss of your kitty last year. I lost 3 of mine in two weeks and I still miss all of them. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

It reminds me of the Beatles' song "I'll follow the sun." That cat is so cute but yours was cuter of course. The cat is the connoisseur of comfort and a philosopher, too. Great and "sunny" way to show us how to deal with the situation today.

Love the pic of the cat here. The solar energy is nice to have. I wish I could afford solar panels, but I will not complain. It will be nice when this virus leaves us. A nice metaphor for hope.

Thanks for reviewing. That cat knows how to soak up the sun.

Nice philosophical poem grounded in physical realities and making an analogy about adapting to change. It is hard to live without a pet. Out of 3 cats in the house, only two seem to like sunshine enough to sit or lie in it, but they are not black like the other one. I found some 's' alliteration here, too, with 'sunny spot.' Nice post, cute photo.

I like this pleasant pussy-cat personification, with a great photo-art selection to enhance your worthy written word.
I have a male cat named Gary. He has two window seats, one on the east side of the house, the other on the west. Gary utilizes them both to follow the sun.
Well crafted!

The picture of the cat is precious. The poem is well crafted with metaphors and imagery to render your message. Thank you sharing your thoughts during this pandemic.

Our Daylight Savings Time BEGAN in March. I like each of these poems as each gives a snap-shot of a moment as the sun passes through your day. I especially like the optimism of the last one. Rod

In the picture this cat positively glows as if she'he carries her/his own sunshine around. I like these poetric tryptichs of yours. Two opposing views or instances are set out in the first and last stanza as examples of the philosophical statement contained in the central section.
