Just love your biography Beth. The latest one of having twins is fascinating, and I don't want it to be sad, but it is what it is. After my elder daughter miscarried at 3 months on holiday, she was so disappointed, we thought it might happen with her second because she bled at 3 months with that baby, but he was fine, and now he is a healthy ten year old. Well done, exciting episode, well done, blessings, Roy

I truly love this diary of your life! Is that a picture of Carol? Lovely child! I worry about the unborn babies and do hope they will be born safely. You left me hanging! Can't wait till the next post!

Dear Beth, in addition to your personal story, I am glad that you are including world events. It will be important for your posterity to know about Castro and the 'Bay of Pigs.' and the fall out shelters. I think it is as important for us to record the emotional climate of your home life as it is to record the vacations, the birth and death's and occupations. This would be the perfect time to encourage your own children AND grandchildren to start writing their own biographies. They have just lived thru the Coronavirus sequester and the response to it from their own perspective.

Thank you so much for the review. I already have one child who is thinking of doing that. I would like so much to read stories from my own grandparents. I will write as much as I know from them but I'll never see their lives from their prespectives.

Oh no! How could you! Now we have to wait to see what happened with the babies. That X-ray thing. They took x-rays of my last two babies and they have terrible health problems now and I can't help but wonder if the x-raying of the fetus was harmful. Water under the bridge now but I an glad they quit doing it. Good job, Beth. Nancy:)

Thank you for the review. Yes, x-rays scare me. I've had more in my life than a few. Chest and dental. When everyone leaved the room except you, you know it's not good.

Dear Beth, here's another chapter I should give 6 stars, but I have no six-er left. What a great chapter this time! So many things happening. Is having twins something in the family?
I hope yours were born ok and healthy, but I'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out. There was one paragraph that touched me very much, it shows me how much you loved your husband and noticed little things about him. You describe how Susan would sit on your husband's lap and he put his coffee cup immediately aside. Also, how he rubbed his hands when he had made something that he was proud of. Small things, but so significant.
Beth, glad to have read this chapter. Found two small flaws:

1. She was due in late April (some extra words crept in here, and a comma)
2. Eighty-five.

Thank you for the lovely review and comments. Evan's sister had twins the same year. My grandmother brother's wife had two sets of twins and set of triplets and two of my half-sisters had twins. I'm so glad you like the story. Thanks for catching the spags. I've fixed them.

Oh, you know, I gotta think he's enjoying these from his vantage point up there, Beth! Love the personality that bleeds through and the love the two of you had for each other in your ease of speaking things! :) Thanx for sharing! :) Yvette
P.S. My last one kicked so hard I had sore ribs!! :) :):)

Thank ;you so much for the review. I appreciate the comments. I some of these things I might not have mentioned if he was alive. He was a pretty private person. He might not like me telling the world.

I can't wait for the birth of these two babies and see what's going on. I am really enjoying this story and the trip down memory lane.

She saw to it that got the set of encyclopedias I wanted, taking the money from her meager monthly welfare checks to pay for the set. (that WE got??)

The US had gotten serious about the space race, and Alan Shepard was our first manto walk in space. (man to)

Our government and many individuals began building fall-out shelters and having drills in school in case of nuclear attaches from Russia. (attacks???)

Thank you so much Pat. I lost my first child due to a DPT injection. She died on Good Friday. My husband died about two and a half years ago. I'm alone but I have children in the area and I'm pretty content. You have a Happy Easter as well.
