Hopefully, a a teacher, I have sewn my share of these "seeds of inspiration" ... what a lovely poem and a grand sentiment!
A very thought-provoking read!
Best of luck in the Two Line Poetry Contest.

What a beautifully smooth and near perfect poem. I thought someone finally won my sixth star... and then... not.
This lost the sixth star in the missing comma that should have followed "painting" in the second line. This comma was required to maintain the rhythm of the pattern which was established in the list which is the entire second line.
Probably the best "new" poem I have read in over a year.... Well done.

This two-line poem, Inspiring Children, uses sixteen words and urges us to teach our children how to live a good life, learn useful and fulfilling skills, and make a world that we can all be proud of.

This is so true, using our time of isolation to go back to some of the things we put aside. I know I am thinking of poems.
Older people are younger people inspiration.
Good luck in the contest.

Your one-line poem packs a powerful, moving message about inspiration and its results. Your have used "seeds" very effectively and creatively as a metaphor.

Yes it's a lovely sentiment, the idea of producing a piece of art to inspire those who come after us -and an appropriate visual to illustrate -thanks for sharing

Your contest entry makes a great, meaningful statement, Mystery Author. I enjoyed reading it. The presentation is super. Your words are well-chosen and ones that all need to aspire too. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully, Jan

Yes, anyone who has talent and PATIENCE can truly "sow the seeds" that will transform another into an artist. I see this happening so often now as parents--now with time to spare--teach their children the arts. Rod
