What a stunning and artful scene. All those rhyming poems while having a discussion about pets and being inside. You are to be commended for such a feat. Great job LisaMay!

I am delighted you liked my script! I have only written a handful and enjoyed writing this one so much I may try more.

This is charming and very creative. I can see it as a stage play for the little ones. I think they would really enjoy it. May the kiddies are using their imaginations more now, although my guess is they're probably spending more time online. Of course they have to because of home schooling. Hugs, Lou

Thanks for your positive remarks. It would present challenges to stage, with elves and giraffes being in short supply, haha.

I guess you haven't heard about the Broadway shows 'Cats' and 'Lion King.' Creative costumes work wonders.

Haha - of course. An elf?

By turning the idea into a game you get over the most awkward problem of a rhyming playscript. That is how to make it seem natural, because of course it never does. it simply never can. The introduction of the elf a supernatural character also helps.

Yes, I thought I'd hit on it when I put the rhyming bunny poem into the script.

This is so much fun to read, LisaMay. It just trips off the tongue so rhythmically. Kids would love it. Good luck in the poetic script writers contest.

Thanks for the starry review. This was such fun to write, It'd be hard to stage with an elf and a giraffe, but it could be converted into a story without too much trouble.

Delightful! This would be impressive even without rhyme--it has so much freshness and whimsy. No doubt adults would enjoy it too--I sure did. Cheers. LIZ

So glad you joined this script-writing challenge, LisaMay! And I hope you'll write more! I like your sweet children and you added more to the plot by having an elf add his magic.

Thanks for reviewing. I really enjoyed writing that script - it would be rather challenging to do as a play with an elf and a giraffe in it, but it could be rewritten as a story easily enough.
