Very nice. So he's the one responsible for making all us men subservient. This poem is cute and it sure qualifies as light and sweet. It produced a smile.

Love this. What would they do without us? The drawing is cute and amusing. She looks just so self satisfied. Her long hair is her clothing. Best of luck in the contest with this terrific entry. Marilyn

A good example of what it is like to be alone and have nobody especially when one is young. Everybody needs somebody and this was a great poem to share.

Well this is just a wonderful rispetto, author. Light and sweet indeed and particularly those fruits and nuts to eat.

But then even sweeter still, Eve.

An excellent poem and entry into this contest. Wishing you much luck in the booth.

This is a well-written and delightful "sweet and light" love poem. The rispetto is an appealing style. You have done well with it. I applaud your topic and approach.

I like this. He saw that man felt a bit alone. He looked at all of the animals realizing that each one had a mate. The Lord gave him eve as you've so eloquently stated. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

OHHH MYYY CUUUUTE!!!! You have my vote in this contest for sure. How freaking adorable is this? And I know from a feminist point of view this is kind of offensive. Lol. Because as a woman I hate thinking that I was made to please a man. But the "girly girl" in me thinks this is cute. Plus I am catholic and I know the story. And this follows the traditional story....but it's written way better.

I?m glad you enjoyed this lighthearted piece! To be honest - feminists should not be offended by it. Because where would the human race be, without a woman? Adam would still be alone with his fruits and nuts. They need us...lol. Thanks for dropping by to read and review.

Thanks for sharing this colourful poem. I really like the artwork and the colouring book style presentation; Eve looks interesting and like she would be well after Adam, lol. I like the ideas of fruit in this and the word choices you use are perfect fitting. Fruit and nuts sounds good. :0)) Yes, Adam was probably rather lonesome and needed a help mate. It rhymes and flows very well. Good job, much enjoyed. A
