As you say, I remember where I was when Kennedy was shot. I was watching TV when the news broke, and went through to the kitchen to tell my mother because, although I didn't totally understand, I knew it was important. Your recollections continue to intrigue and delight, and I look forward to reading on.

I sometimes forget that the news in this country is heard all over the world. I didn't vote for Kennedy, but I was caught up in the tragedy when he was killed. Thank you for all those stars. I tend to save the sixes to use near the end of the week when others are already out also.

The years when your twins were little you will always remember. How old are you twins today. Ours are close to the age of twenty. Identical twins. Did you say that your twins were identical?

No my twins were a girl and a boy. They are fifty-six now. The boy is chiropractor and the girl is a massage therapist.

Good work you need to notify me when you post as good old FS is not notifying me even though we are fans of each other. I am missing the phoney money. Good chapter. Graphic in places but ok. Love the photo.

You are on my fanlist. I don't know why you aren't getting notices. I get them when you post. Actually I put one on this morning and it will pay for four days so you need to read it soon. It's called Back in the Job Market and it is on page one. Thank for reading this one and giving me another of your precious six stars.

I said to Tom maybe I have too many fans and the notices move pages too quick pushed over by new notices.

Oh, you are a beauty. I can see it in the picture. So is your husband and little girl. Hard to tell about the twins yet. I'm guessing Don is the one held by hubby. I'm anxious to see how he turns out. Amazing anecdotes about his behavior, especially moving the cribs together. LOL

Thank you for the review and for saying I'm a beauty. I never thought so. I guess people never like the way they look. However I wouldn't mind looking like that again. yes my husband is holding him.

Other than those who have raised several small children at the same time, especially if at least one is rambunctious, most people have little idea of how much work is involved. In this detailed chapter, you make us aware of what can occur and what is required to deal with it. Clearly, you had tremendous patience to handle it all as well as you did.

Your inclusion of significant concurrent history will enable your family members to view the family events in proper context of their times.

Superb, and aptly illustrated with the beautiful family portrait.

Please consider the rating to be a Virtual Six, as my allotment is gone for this week.

Yes, I think the whole Western world remember that year and the assassination. I was 11 years old when the news came on in Denmark and we saw the assassination life on the TV. My dad had pulled me up on his lap and tried to hide the images from me, but it was too late. I saw it all. And later when Lee Harvey Oswald was murdered.
Your son Don sounds like a handful, and I laughed out loud at some of his antics. Well written, as always. All best. Ulla:)))

Thank you Ulla, I really appreciate the review and comments.
I guess the world has shrunk to the point that what happens in one corner of globe, affects us all. That is especially true now with the coronavirus.

Remembering so much of life and love and growing children from infancy through the civil rights movement, it's a lot to chew on. I bet if each child wrote a chapter of his or her recollection (once they were old enough to remember it), it would make for an interesting contrast and converging points of view.

Thank you for your review and and comments. I am encouraging my children to do just that. They are beginning to remember some of the things I've written about. As they age, I'm sure there will be difference in the way we view things. Even thought it won't count against me, I'm curious about the four star rating. These are usually accompanied with suggestions for improvement and offers to raise the rating once the improvement is made. I don't see where you have suggested anything??

I feel like I am right there watching as things are described. You write wonderfully well. Having twins is really a handful, but your are managing very well. Great chapter!

Thank you so much for the review and the wonderful comments. I seem to make a lot of mistakes that need editing. I used to be a good editor, but now by eyes skim right over the mistakes. You're reading after some others helped me correct some things.

Wow - you sure were so busy! And I'm not surprised that a boy is more active but he sounds very coordinated early on. Thanks for putting all this into historical perspective.

Thanks for the review and comments. As they get older, I get even busier. He was very coordinated at climbing and using his hands but he fell a lot. He was always sporting a knot on his head. It didn't seem to bother him.

As always, well done and leaving me eager for more. Re the graphics--I am inured since reading LisaMay's poem on the subject of constipation and the relief at last from laxatives. She used a pregnancy metaphor of laboring--and readers wrote asking whether she'd given birth to a boy or a girl! Cheers. LIZ
