Mothers do not consider what they are doing is depriving them of doing something else. They simply know that all things are on hold while they deal with the most important things in their life. Raising children is a gift that few mothers would do without.

Hi Kahpot, This is a lovely tribute for the Mother's Day contest to a loving daughter, wife, and mother. Sometimes, we forget that a mother is, at times, all three at once. She sounds an extraordinary person. :)

My mother had a wicked streak. I didn't know the depths of it until she told me, three or four months before her death in 2013. Now, I depise her in my memories.
