Good afternoon,
I get the literal and figurative meaning of your poem. It's nice.
Just a few words describes ,I think, Jesus' light. We pay for it, it's not expensive, by being obedient to His word.
I love how short yet wonderful your poem is.

A very true poem in so many ways. If we don't pay our bills, the companies would shut off our electricity, heat, and water, too. Something we don't want to experience.
