I really like your poem. It's a good one, that tells the "behind the scenes" for writing. I don't know about the rejections part and all, because I'm only a fifth grader, and I haven't went to a publisher to publish a book, but it probably does feel bad. Anyways, I really liked your poem, and good luck in the contest!!

It is like that really. It isn't like until the third book, or fourth that your writing career succeeds. Something like that. For the first timers perhaps some get lucky the first time they've debuted a novel and be successful. It is different for any writer. This is an essay I wrote. Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed my essay! This essay is well done with the positive message that success in writing can happen when it is taken seriously. Taking courses to achieve that goal, and producing a lot of work are both important to eventual success.

There is artistic flare in writing that cannot be taught, it is inside the soul of the writer, it can't be learned, it comes from he heart, but I expect classes will help too, love Dolly x
