Oh, now THAT was clever! Very well thought out, got the syllables right, of course, and showed off a bit of wit, to boot. And, yes, I remember Sonny and Cher very well. :)

This combination of photo and verse is adorable. You did exactly what the contest challenged you to do--you made me smile. Rain will only last a moment and then those two can huddle together in the sun, although, I bet they don't really mind being wet.

You've written an excellent, clever 5-7-5 poem for the fun contest
with a very good play on words.
Young people may not get it, but the "older" set will.
