I adored this show, and watched it for the longest time. A family favorite, actually. Imagine if you will, a time and place where the entire family could sit around the tube and watch the same program. This flys in the face of modern culture. I miss this this iconic show and time capsule.

This was a well done life story of Daniel Boone. I too saw the Daniel Boone series with Fess Parker. I only saw one misspelled word. That is schoo should be school

I think you did a wonderful job of telling the adventures and story of Daniel Boone. When I lived in Tennessee, it was all about Boone, so I thought he did more than just traverse the state and explore the mountains but apparently that was all he did or most of what he did in TN. Really fascinating stuff about this well known folk hero! But after all you told me, I keep feeling so sorry for his wife - ten kids and mostly all alone and two boys were killed. Heroes aren't always the best husbands or dads.

"once again fortune turned " (Once) Later in the same sentence you use "once again" again so you might want to change that.

This extensive encapsulation of Daniel Boone's life is packed with the man's daring dos. Although folk heroes get a boost from their lives being told in exaggeration, he was still a colorful and important figure in his time.

I didn't know all of this about Daniel Boone. He was a remarkable man with many survival skills along with his hunting prowess. He lived to be a ripe old age considering all of the twists and turns that occurred in his life. I enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!
