Apples do sway in an orchard as if dancers upon a stage in a revue - you could not have penned a prettier poem for Monet's painting. I can't find a fault - I'm thoroughly charmed.

You have met the qualifications for this contest, but more than than your rhyme and meter flow so well that this poem rolls off of the tongue. This is a well thought out piece. I enjoyed it immensely, especially the last verse.

You've succeeded in capturing the impressionistic view of an orchard. Muted shades of white, and green remind us of Monet and his style. A lovely piece filled with the beauty of spring.

This was beautiful. I really liked it. I especially liked the way you talked aout a floral choir and the trees being like dancers. Wonderful metaphor and images here.

This is an interesting ekphrastic poem that describes a favorite painting of mine. It fulfills the color request and rules of the prompt. It reads aloud well (I like to read the poems aloud) and I appreciate the peacefulness the piece provides. Thank you for sharing.

Oh yes, I agree that God is His creation, and creation knows and praises Him. He is omnipotent and holds all things together. Written in articulate language, delightfully held by a very upbeat and smooth narrative witg abcb rhyming, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
Suggestion "I'm the sole audience to be pleased."

This is a lovely poem, which even without the wonderful painting of Monet, gives me the image of the orchard, of the green high-grown grass, the apple blossom, the pecking red-breasted robin. The contest asked for at least two colors, you had three, all descriptive in the poem
Very precise rhyming. I read this with much pleasure.

A beautiful painting of color in the old orchard! ;) Wonderful abcb rhyme to carry the reader through your easy rhythm! ;) I would only note that the example given really seemed to be on the 'short' side of this contest definition.... but, Hey! That's up to the committee to decide! :) Wonderful poem! ;) Best of luck! ;)

I like your ekphrastic interpretation of this lovely painting by Monet. You have incorporated two colours, the green of the grass and the red of the robin's breast, and the white of the blossom is implied. All this is given greater meaning by your thoughts about divine creation. Nicely done.
