I really enjoy reading these memories and thinking of my own life in comparison. When finished, this will be the perfect gift to your children.

It won't be a surprise because my children are reading it as I write it. They keep demanding the next chapter. I pleased they like it. Thank you for reading and comments.

Wonderful! They can have a healthier respect for their parents now rather than later.

This was another great read. Do you think the font is a bit heavy? Regarding house design we have often said more women should get into architecture as the men don't go with larger kitchens or laundry rooms hehe. You always have to be careful with lower-than-the-rest quotes. A couple of spags. In your title first... Again our [the] family deals with change.

In order t[he](o) get a down payment

Thank you so much for the review and comments. You are right about the low bids but we couldn't have built the house we wanted with the higher bids. I think I've already fixed that spag but I'll take another look.

I like how you define the relationship with God. "We believed God has his people in many different denominations, and that salvation depends more on your personal relationship than on doctrine. Nevertheless, this church seemed to be one which would meet our needs."
Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day.

It's interesting changes from church to church, we've been settled at the church we go to, since 2002, I'm a literalist with scripture, I don't care what men say, and I've always believed what I've believed, nothing will shift it, because revelation is personal, one has to know what one believes, it's only ever been built on. Scripture says call no man father, we only have one father, and the Holy Spirit is our teacher, although men who agree with the Holy Spirit are the ones to trust. Good article Beth.
Typo : the pastor and (a) visiting evangelist. 2; he complained he was lo(o)sing money.

We take the scripture literally too. But not everyone agrees on what is literal. I've been to many Baptist churches that claim to be literal but see things different from each other. Thanks for the typo help.

I must admit I don?t how scripture can differ. God chose my teachers carefully, because I knew I was no lesser than others, that?s why people should realise God is our teacher. Bless you Beth, I have found you are an honest woman, with integrity.

Sometimes people take one scripture and make a doctrine out of it. Others take everything the Bible says on the subject and then they get a somewhat different picture on what it is trying to convey. I like the second approach.

I would think that ALL scripture compliments and reinforces itself, before I knew the Lord they were just words.
reply by the author on 06-Jun-2020
It does but if you take just one out of context, you might believe it is saying something it isn't mean to to say.

Let?s were faith and reason part company. Trust in the saviour is paramount, otherwise like a spaceship only needs to be a fraction of a degree out to be a million miles from its target in the end.

Still enjoying the memoirs. Moving often because of my husband being in the military I completely understand how hard it is to find a church home.

As often happens, some people become dissatisfied with the minister and start rumors, and soon the congregation is divided, with some wanting to split off and start a new church. (and STARTED rumors)

Thank you so much for the review and for your comments. I'm glad you are still enjoying it. Thanks for your help. If I'm going to change to started, I'll need to change become to became and the is to was. I was using in it in present tense. Maybe the past tense is better.

Following your life with work, husband and three children is a pleasure.
Always something is happening out of the ordinary. So sorry to hear your boss didn't want to modernize with better materials to work with. Could he not see that it would really be in his interest to have better results? And what about your payment? Did you mention that others in this profession earned a lot more than you did?
And then the prospect of a new house! Exciting! And a new school, a new church, new friends for your children...a lively chapter.

Thank you for the review and comments. I will get to what happened with my boss in the next chapter. Yes something is always happening, but I'm sure most lives are like that as well.

You don't mention the denomination of the church but I guess it seemed to be okay. On the other hand, your kids got a multi-denominational experience with the different churches and schools.

It's good that you know what you like and wouldn't just accept the changed tile!

Typo in the description: "Onece again the family deals with change." (Once)
"that he was loosing money on the job" (losing)
