You hit the big ones. I had forgotten the panic that ensued with Y2K. Yes, the war on terror will never end, I fear. I'm lost about Pluto. Are you talking about the planet? No mention of Covid19. That would scare the generations to come.

I was placing the speaker in 2008 and the election of the first African American POTUS and the years before. Pluto was demoted to a dwarf planet or glorified ice ball within a year of the release of the iPhone in 2006.

Now, I remember about Pluto. Astrologically, people born under that sign look at life through rose colored glasses.

I certainly have to agree with you that the United States is the greatest county. In 2000, we did not know about the coronavirus. We have lots of scary things happen in 2020. Constant prayer and trying to end the pandemic is on our list. Wash those hands; use those masks.

I think so. Y2K (I think I remember this one) and Pluto with I phone or some such thing. Anyway I liked your work.
