Yes, when when the world adapts to the aftermath of this pandemic, parents will have to have figured out a better way to explain what the world used to be like.
Nice try, though, Rod. ;)

Thank you, Don, for sharing my short story. Indeed it will be interesting to see how parents of the future explain the effects of the 2020 pandemic. Rod

An amazing little story that thirty years from now, will probably be true.
The picture really fits the story.
Trying to do reviews, but wanted to do some for you first.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks again,
Dick

A very well-written flashback and the stories our children and grandchildren can tell their children many years from now, and give them a look on our experiences with the Corona virus threat.

This is very clever. It is quite believable when you think of questions kids might ask today: "What's a dial up phone?, What's an 8-track? What's a transister radio? What a tape recorder? So none of your story is very far-fetched. You did a good job.

Hello my friend

You did a great job with your entry for the Tale from the 3rd Millennium writing prompt contest. You used contemporary issues and made them a thing of the past, as if you were telling the story 30 years from now. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Well, it sure looks like the world, especially America, has gone downhill in just twenty years. The new norm is not desirable, people don't seem happier.

I don?t think many will be pleased with the new norm. Thank you, Rebecca, for sharing my story.

How many could possibly be pleased with the new norm?

Yes this looks like how it all might eventually turn out - world developments are moving at such a fast pace that even good old schooldays might even be consigned to history !

Sadly, the school system will definitely change as early as this fall. Thank you for sharing my short-short, zanya.

This is a very good entry the picture complements the subject.I was wondering if the virus will remain in history for future generation to remember, a proof that life has changed dramatically.

Thank you for sharing my story, Iza. You ask a good question. I should think this pandemic will be recorded in history books and will be read about and studied in schools.

Very good, and could be very true. I think the entire world is going to be making adjustments, especially the schools. I hope the grade schools will continue because that is where I learned how to study, how to advance, and made many many friends. As for the colleges yes go online, then we won't have people going to college that shouldn't. I don't think I will be alive to see many changes, but my children and grandchildren will. Yes you went to the future.
