The story itself is very well done, thus the five stars. But you really should double check for spelling/punctuation errors. There are lots of them. Here are just a few: slicing glass dog for sliding glass door. Caustically for casually. An spitz instead of a spitz.

    Thank you so much for the review. I did read over it again and you were right. There were quite a few places that needed to be fixed.

This is a very nice story, with a happy ending. It has all the elements to be a winner in a FS contest. Good idea.

notes:

"You'll get use to him,[]if you keep coming over.

- add space

For a small dog, he could leap almost to the top of the {slicing} glass dog.

"Please, somebody! Get him off!", she pleaded.

We brought Dad into the house, in [a or his] wheelchair.
