Well done Beth. I really enjoyed reading this take of your days when I remember the days. Sad about the old boy taking his life. He probably beat the ordeal before the mob did.

One of the art projects I was assigned to work on involved illustrating a book that was a memory book of art and photographs for a lady who was a professor at a black collage. (college)
I had been shocked when printing companies where I worked printed such menus. (companies)

I know I've told you over and over again, but I really enjoy reading these memoirs.

This diary entry is very interesting.
Noticed two typos:
I had been shocked when printing comepanys (companies) where I worked printed such menus.
We learned that Henry had gotten deeply in debt by gambling, and apparently, he was about to loose (lose) everything.

How sad, your boss feeling so hopeless that he took his life like that. When you said what you did about the separate checks my first thought was it's a scam or there are strings attached. I'm glad I was wrong. I think a lot of boys go through the destructive phase. I know mine did. A lot of times it was to torment his sisters, hear them scream. The girls had ways to get even, lol. Your chapter is very well-written, interesting. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you Marjon. You are right. He was a character and there were some interesting people on that job. This got released before I was finished. I hope you didn't start reading before I promoted it.
