Freedom is a very nice prize! Is a wonderful poem that follows very difficult and stringent guidelines but does it flawlessly. It provides a wonderful message concerning the American flag and the glory with it. It not only embraces the flag but it encourages us to embrace all who have served the country it represents. Great job.

Thank you Dr. Nad for reading this poem and for the 'Exceptional' review.
I never wrote poetry before joining this site, and YOUR review rewards my taking this unfamiliar path.
    I can't thank you enough!I
I've been to an Arlington military burial twice, and I do okay until I hear taps.
    Best regards!

Thank you Dolly for reading one of my posts and for the very nice review. We should all take the opportunity to give thanks to those who have served and those serving. It might just make a difference in how people act. I cry when I hear taps...not because of how it sounds, but what it stands for.
    Thanks again,
    ?

This poem is amazing and I wish that all the NFL players that want to kneel would read this poem and realize the lives lost so that they could have the freedom to stand or kneel. I love the line, "stand tall". That's what everyone in America needs to do.

I think it would be a good idea for NFL players to walk around with a folded flag with a picture of the soldier who gave them the freedom to play a sport.
