Great job with the Pleiades Poetry writing a prompt entry. You followed the rules of the contest well. Title with a single word, seven lines, the first word in each line starts with the same letter as the title. Lovely presentation. Good alliteration of U. Good luck in the contest!

Your vividly descriptive, skillfully-written Pleiades poem is very patriotic and timely. There is SO much going on. I don't think complete unity will be possible till some long-term wrongs are fixed.

Good message but with poetry it can be jarring for the reader when they stumble across verses that are inserted for the sole purpose of rhyming.
The type of poem plays into this making it difficult. You have to start with a U and how often does that happen?

I love this poem! I love the word colorblind because too many people get stuck on the race and we should be united to serve and be proud of our country. Lives are constantly lost so we can enjoy our freedom.
