Great entry for the contest, author. Yes, our human condition is in pretty bad shape lately. Problem is, I cannot fathom any middle ground being used by the masses. This stanza is very telling, my friend:
"From man's beginnings to the
final fall of humanity,
they all have the same human stain
brought about by their thirst
for money, power, and control"

It's funny how one work confirms a mutual of awakening hope when all seems lost. The poem I wrote this morning gives the light to what comes from a dark night, is the dawn of a newness that can come. I don't know how the holocaust victims saw things, but I do know light still dawned in some. This is profoundly and beautifully written my friend, a great entry in this contest, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

Great entry for the Free-style poem: human suffering writing prompt contest.
Lengthy poem about human suffering. I would go back and get rid of the superfluous. I found my mind wondering. It's hard to follow but you do have an important message. Buddha said life is suffering. Well done.

It's a story that has repeated itself throughout history right from the Garden of Eden down to this morning's breaking news. Man's inhumanity towards man. With broken moral compasses the leaders can fix nothing. We need to follow our God-given conscience and take a stand. And keep that pearl of great value - hope - in our hearts.

Now, we must redirect the passions of mankind and control the insatiable addiction to the dais of power, wealth, adulation, dictatorship.
You observations are haunting in their outline of a history that has been corrupted from Nature to control.
History has shown that mankind has a Phoenix gene that can be restarted with prayers and good works.
The narrative of the anarchists must be overwritten by the message of the "whirlwind," so all will know about the negatives that will be reaped
by those who have sowed the whirlwind.
Please continue to write the message. The anarchists have bones, they cannot stand, they can only "lie."

Dolly yes! Thankfully there are more people closer to the there God nature than not. Otherwise we would be doomed.
