Well, with the confession you've made, life isn't responsible for your failure to achieve what you want to achieve, or indeed mine Iza, some people say that one makes their own luck, but in principal there is an element of chance. Beautifully written Iza, blessings Roy
Typo : What's so special about (it)? 2: (he my skip (to) the grocery store guy)

I agree, Iza. We do have choices and many times we make poor ones, then blame life. It's all a matter of prioritizing what life throws at us. I enjoyed your story. You have a busy life even in lockdown. Those kitties are important--esp. now to help relieve stress. So, dote on them a lot. As for the other 'things,' I'll leave them to you to decide.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Hi Iza. Sounds to me like you just wastewd a lot of time. Biggest problem is that *#@!&*& television! Too much of that will burn a hole in your imagination and thinking processes. Trust me...play the radio instead...good back ground music soothes and entertains while you work or study. : ) Bob

Another witty little post on life. You have a perfect insight here, into the blame game that people play nowadays. everyone blames something or someone else for their problems. It's his fault. Her fault. Your fault. Life's fault. I like the humor woven into your little piece; the procrastination of the exam with the time spent watching TV, or playing with the kitties, or doing chores. We all live like this. estory

I am in awe that this is not your first language. I like the casual turn of phrase you use, "yup the old style, by hand" and then that "love-hate games with my kitties" was just exactly the best way to describe playing with cats. The essence of this piece reminded me a bit of that John Lennon quote about life being "what happens when you're busy making other plans". Thank you for the wisdom

Only you can be blamed for how you use (or misuse) your time. I have hundreds of ideas on this subject and ways to control time. I have been trying to collate these into an anthology, but they refuse to conform, at least so far.

(typo: what's so special about? s/b ...about it?) Clever bit on the perils of procrastination--your time was well-spent--but now it's time to hit the books. Cheers. LIZ

Comment from Gloria ....
This is a fun read, Iza. By the sounds of it you have mastered the art of dithering quite well, but look at all the other things you accomplished when you should've been studying for your exam. It's all going to come in handy one of these days.
Just one typo here:
( he is my skipthe the grocery store guy),
Great job and very readable.
