The picture and words combine to make this poem a striking post. Fear is probably an uncommon emotion to chose to portray, which makes this piece unique.

Sense an inference here of fear needing to hide behind approval, if that is what a "burgeoning fan base" implies. Generally courage has a much larger fan base than fear because there are simply more people who are fascinated by courage than by fear. Fear attracts fear. Courage attracts people wanting to be courageous--which would include nearly everyone, wouldn't it?
Courageous people don't need a fan base. And it's because of the having no need of one, that they acquire the biggest one.
