This is a happy, funny poem. It is very full of emotion, and the writer obviously cares about the Lovey Man as much as the Lovey Man cares about her. I enjoy the entire poem, but my favorite is the middle stanza. Your image is absolutely perfect to complement the words you chose. Wonderful poem!

You have great metaphors. This poem has some tongue-in-cheek humor which is needed these days. You have good use of juxtaposition. The alliteration especially the s's effects the sizzling of the fire of the glow. Well thought out.

It took many years for him to become your silly clown. My wife can just look at me with her silly look and we bust out laughing. What a wonderfully written poem.

Many do not understand that for a couple to survive any type of storm they must always try to bring a smile to their partner. Your poem is lovely I like it. :) The picture is worth more than a 1000 words. This is a good entry for the Personification of an Emotion poem contest.
