Thank you very much for the positive comments and for having awarded 6 shiny stars to my poem.
That sixth star is for me an immense encouragement .. I have never been good at words but nine months after the passing of my pa in sept 2017 .....crazy as it may seem...I started thinking in rhyme ..
... it s been just over 2 years now and I m slowly getting familiar with the many formats
...and now and then surprisingly I actually manage to write a poem where words , rhyme and thoughts combine well.

Hate is a strong word that tends to get used too lightly in my opinion, even by myself. Good work on this piece and good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing and later daze.

Hatred is destructive and consumes, but off late I can't help but hate our Prime Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte...he is bringing our country to ruins ( sigh)
Anyway , thank you for the positive response.
By the way , you have a unusual username .. I read about this creature that sucks blood from domestic animals... Do you like reading about mythical creatures like Bigfoot, Nessie..etc??

You have captured the malicious nastiness and destructive power of hatred very clearly in this vicious poem with your great use of language.
Personally, I found the condensed typeface difficult to read. As an older person, my eyesight has a problem reading thick white letters on a black background (it goes fuzzy). There are many older people on this site, so perhaps a more open font such as Helvetica would be easier to read for us oldies.
