Oh, that is sadistic. I Peter needs to reconsider the people he hangs with. I ink it is also telling that her only concern is for the life of the lizard and not what damage he may cause Peter.

Oh, author, you are mean just waiting to see if Peter screamed. :) This is quite a story for so little space in which to write. It leave me wondering if the reaction you desire set Peter's shorts on fire. :) This is a very good entry for the 60 Word Dash contest. Peter probably did dash. :)

I am completely against animal cruelty but this is fiction and Peter probably deserved a shock! (I'm obviously going to take Julia's side!)

You definitely managed to tell a short story! It was fun to read. One can easily visualize her grin as she waits for Peter to jump out of scare. Wouldn't blame her. LOL. This should do well in the prompt. Good luck!
