LOL! This is a delightful mix of banal and Godly...apparently you prefer your gods raging and revengeful ;).
Your poem is full of hilarious little details:
He is there in person (already unusual)
He is actually excited to get his pizza late (and free)
I'm not sure what the waiter was thinking... He'd get free pizza from me just for being who he is...
Sundial..LOL!
And the perfect snarky closing moment "And there's your tip," !

I supposed it was a meal for two (the god and the shark :).

I enjoyed your very non romantic, humorous fable. :)
I'd wish you good luck, but I plan to join the contest..so...
never mind, good luck anyways! :)

Lol. Sure, jump on in. We need more takers for this contest. So far I'm not seeing many 'turns' as required as per your thread but some folks just don't get it. Ha. Thank you for the awesome review, Jyoti. I really appreciate the generous stars. I'm glad you liked this silly piece. I had to throw something ridiculous in the mix. Haha. Best of luck to you in the contest. Can't wait to read it. Have a great day.

Ha! This is a clever and fun write. I enjoyed your humor as well as your take on Poseidon's power. Woe to he who dares to raise the ire of oceans god.
