This was a nice piece, I like the emphasis on the last two lines by italicizing them. This was a great job overall, best of luck in the contest, thanks for sharing. Later daze.

This is really quite lovely, in the hand of gentlelady, with soft thoughts and appreciation of her spouse. A nicely composed Petrarchan sonnet, with delicate tones, superb language, and great flow. The abba abba cdcdcd rhyming is near perfect, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

This blows me away, as it should every reader... You have taken the liberty, as aforementioned... You sure have... And you do it well... Very well... You really took us inside her mind, too... And how poetic... And telling... I can almost picture browning twirling her hair as she writes. Her life's theme is a good one, and you portray it well. Good read that I will keep in the vault, for sure.

Wow! I am so flattered my sonnet "blew you away," Bobby. It was a challenge to step into EBB's shoes, but I had fun. Many thanks for this great review and all those stars. Rod

This is a piece of poetic treasure - the language is exquisite befitting the noble format that is the Sonnet and the sentiments of love flow as it were eloquently and naturally

That was very beautiful, filled with love, and very readable. Good luck with the contest. I loved the sketch, very beautiful also. what is the style that this is written in. I did not know there were so many styles. I am learning a lot on this site.

Thank you for the lovely review of my poem, Becky. Traditionally, a sonnet has 14 lines and is written in iambic pentameter. Ms. Browning?s style is different from Shakespeare?s because of the rhyme scheme she used and the lack of a closing couplet.
