I like your presentation very much, in colouring and in emotion. The ardent flame may be just a flicker in times of longing darkness, but hope breathes on it and will keep it capable of bursting into flame.

Your metaphor nails it. This is the crux of people's hope and how deep it lies. It can weather anything. Sometimes it dives so deep ittakes a while. But it surfaces and we can move on. Well expressed. I have to give this A+

There are days when I feel we are never going to get out of this mess but then when I talk to my best friend on the phone , I can feel the flame of hope reignite ...
Keep safe and keep the flame burning we can't let this virus win.

Very beautiful poem, very insightful. Yes our entire country need hope. Hope, to get our cities back to peaceful being, instead of rioting and destruction. Oh what is happening to our wonderful Republic, Vote and Pray.

This year has been very dark : pandemic, protests, riots...
There are days my hope is rock bottom but then after talking to my best friend ( who is my rock) , my sense of hope reignites and I really do believe we can make things right again..

Nice work which goes well with the picture. I don't know if it is by choice but I notice that you don't capitalize or punctuate. I will say, thank goodness for this kind of hope which keeps people moving along in life!

It was a last minute entry .. I like to keep it simple when I can ..
capitals , sentences just don't look nice to me..
Glad you like the picture .. as soon as I saw it , I knew it would enhance my wee poem.
