I could 'hear' the meter in my head as I read it. the lines were smooth, the rhymes were super, the descriptions of the people involved were fun to read and the imagery was perfect.

And yes they all sounded guilty at worst, and at best, that couldn't care less.

Oh, I think we're allowed to laugh at death when it is clearly a fictional character. Where would we be without black humour? My favourite movie comedy of all time is "Death at a Funeral" - the British version, not the lack-lustre US rip-off!

This is light verse at its very best, frequent use of alliteration and some lovely names that drive the thing inexorably forward. Not to mention a touch of bawdiness to raise a giggle here and there. I would love yo see this win. Who needs gravitas!
