When I saw the name Persephone, I was a goner. That is my grand mother's middle name, as well as the name of at least one of my cousins. I love how you romanticize the passing of seasons. You actually make the onset of Winter not sound or feel so bad. Good job.

I love this but have no more sixes! How beautiful the language, especially the first stanza. It could stand alone. This is very lovely. Good luck in the contest!

Dynamite! Simply awesome poetry, my friend you transformed simple wordings into amazing, meaningful phrases and excellent rhymes; I'd be surprised if this is not a winner.

Well, here in New England, we are preparing for autumn. The leaves will soon begin to change into fall shades of crimson, orange and gold. The they will turn brown. But, spring will follow winter and we will see rebirth when the trees begin to bud. Lovely minute poem that highlights hope.

"Winds of Change" is a beautiful minute poem Tony. Very nice rhyme and excellent imagery. Most people don't like change even in the weather. But...change is the one constant that we have.

Well done
Blessings

There is a light feel and flow to your words. "Away with death" in the first verse draws the reader into your words. The mention of brown leaves swaying also adds to the visual impact of your words.

Poet, you placed me into where my character in my book is now. Freezing winds.
You did well with this short poem and I find nothing wrong.
Thank you for sharing your talent.

This poem was a pleasant read secondary to the flow of your words. The picture matches the poem. Your words painted a picture of the end of winter and the hope for spring.

Thanks for your review, Earl. Would that I could dash one of these off in a minute! It?s an interesting poetic form and more demanding than at first appears. All good wishes, Tony

This is a very well written piece. Its lines about the teasing wind are enchanting and very visual. The wind has movement. I enjoyed reading this piece.
