This is very interesting and I am sure it involved a fair amount of research on your part. It is well written. Your illustration, of course, pairs perfectly. To nitpick, I am not sure you describe how you would change the outcome. Perhaps you are saying the purchase would not have happened had you not jumped in. As I said, nitpicking because this is very nicely done.

Thank you, roof35, very much for taking the time to read and review my story. I appreciate your comments and your ?nit-picking? is valid. I am thinking MY James convinced Livingston to sign the document. In reality, the negotiations went on and on and Livingston hedged because he?d only been given $10 million to use.
