Oh, I like this Boogienights. All the verses flow and make sense. I can see why you won this contest. It's clearly the best entry. And like your poem says... I can relate.

Thank you so much for your kind review

Congrats on your win! You've diagnosed my problems, captured what has kept me up for nights on end. I love the fluttering butterfly hovering over the hand moving the pen. It may be inspiration or a distraction--sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. Bottom line: great advice to write thoughts down "to capture them."

Hello anonymous
Excellent entry for the
Name writing prompt contest. I love the acrostic poetic form. You incorporated each letter into the text well. I like the writing topic and presentation. Good luck in the contest.

This is truly lovely and speaks to what so many writers do as we spill out onto paper the ideas, experiences and feelings of our lives and environments. Very nice.

Thanks so much for reading.

Many a reader will be drawn in to identify if they are writers. I'm wondering how many like myself have to get up out of bed if a thought such as is cited in this poem comes into their head. I remember ideas would cook a little tossing around in my imagination when I'd go jogging. I wrote things down soon after I got back. Well thought out.

Thank you so much.

The key to writing is to capture an idea and then begin to write and often it will amaze us just how sweetly the words flow from pen to paper. Good luck in the contest.

Certainly is our wonderful escape!! :) Love your use of the word 'writing' for your acrostic -- an awesome presentation 'in a word'! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! :)
