What writer on this site cannot relate to the Speaker here? Yes, we oft must write down our thoughts as suddenly as they come to us and worry about rewriting them more clearly later. Indeed, it is often a "hunger" we must sate. Your message is nicely conveyed in this acrostic. Rod

Writing. A very nice acrostic poem. And I can see that writing is a real passion for you. Writing down notes and ideas for later poems is a good custom. I do that for years already. Well done!

You have perfectly described the way I write! I have a Google doc that I can pull up on either my phone or my laptop, and I add to it whenever some interesting thought or word or sentence comes to me. Then I later play around with all the "stuff" in my "sandbox" document until something worthwhile comes out.

A very well-written acrostic poem the poet's passion to write. The noughts blue into the mind and if not quick enough to write it down the thought us gone forever and no words can take its place.

'When the wind blows thoughts my way, ... lest I forget when things crowd up my mind.' My two favorite phrases. I do not keep pen and paper handy as much as I ought- I love the butterfly winging its way on your picture. It is often true- if the thought is not captured 'in the now' ... its perfect wording will leave.

Very nicely done! It Is food for the soul, I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't write.
Sometimes my brain gets overwhelmed with ideas and I just remind myself that my good ideas (if they slip my mind) always come back!
