Thank you for the great review, Yvette. Yeah, it's predictable but usually, give them crap like this and the votes come pouring in. I guess I'll just have to go look me up some inspirational quotes off the internet to sucker them in next time. LOL. I appreciate the gracious stars. Have a great rest of your weekend.

This is an excellent entry in this 6word poetic contest. It's amazing how difficult it is to remain married, but my wife and I have made it to 49 years, beautifully written and congratulations, good luck, blessings, Roy

Hello Mystery Writer!
Yes!
My husband and I just celebrated 41 years of marriage, and "each day still anew."
The years have passed far too quickly, but we are healthy and even more in love than when we started out on this adventure.
Best Wishes!

I like how your title speaks of sunrise which is new and the first line speaks of fifty years of marriage which would seem to be not new but you show us that with loving commitment, each day is fresh and new! Best wishes in the contest. If autobiographical, Congratulations!!

Thank you for the fantastic review, Helen. It's actually a little exaggerated on the years for the contest but still very true. I really appreciate the generous stars. I'm glad you liked the piece.

It's wonderful to read a little praise, as per this short 8 word poem, for the much-maligned institution of marriage - a happy marriage is a blessing from on High, in my opinion!!

Fifty years! How few marriages last like this! I smile spontaneously at the spark that was never extinguished...though many a storm must have blown through in five decades. Rejoice! Love is eternal!--Karenina

A great message in this poem. Some marriages are that fortunate - and the two people feel like each day is still anew. Great picture of a happy couple, good descriptive imagery and visuals. You packed volumes in these 8 words. Good luck in the contest, I think it will do very well.

wonderful! 50 years, that's an accomplisment. You must have met your soulmate, like my husband and I...40 years for us. Best of luck in the contest, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the great review, Boogie. I'll admit, 50 years was a bit exaggerated but I still can't wait to feel her loving touch every single day. Congrats on 40. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars. I'm glad you liked this little piece.
