Yes it's truly a Sonnet filled with love while abiding in hope and waiting for the beloved to return from his war commitment - a sense of fortitude emanates from the lines

I think this is a lovely and beautiful poem. Very nicely written and with an emotional picture to go with it. I am not an expert, but it sure reads like a sonnet to me. Best of luck in the contest.

A very well-written Shakespearean sonnet about a loved one who was called for war. His return is not certain but when he does return you will be ready to be I. His arms again.
