What a beautiful poem of comfort to Yvonne during this most difficult time. Losing a child must be the worst sense of loss, and your tribute will bring a measure of solace during a time of much sorrow.

Thank you for sharing today.

Gloria

Thank you for sharing that pain of loss of that sweet granddaughter. But God provided you Sophia in just a year and carried you through that pain. May the Lord carry Yvonne and her family through this unimaginable pain. Let's keep praying. She says she can't imagine life without him. It breaks my heart.

It is the most heartbreaking thing a human can suffer. Worse, to see it before your eyes. I was my daughter-in-law's birth coach. The doctor gave me a few minutes to morn over her before other family came in. I had my own private session to look upon her and kiss her little fingers and toes and drench her with my tears. Really sad, but a departing gift from God. At least I was able to say goodbye. She was gorgeous and perfectly formed. Jackson came in a few minutes later and we had precious time together with her.

I hope and pray for Yvonne that she can mourn her son and let go. It's important to move on for the living, those left behind that must carry on. My son, daughter-in-law, and their three boys were hurting so badly, as was our large family, they became my ministry and are my life. We are very close. I pray Yvonne draws close to the Lord and her family. It will be healing balm for her. Thank you for the review and prompting this, dear Helen. Blessings to you and yours always,

My first six for this amazing masterpiece full of the emotion of one who has lost and still lived. Great rhyme and flow to make it stick on the shoulders of those who read it

-Lovely image and
heartfelt notes, Sally.
-I think we are all stunned
and saddened by this news.
-You wrote a very good poem
for Yvonne that also came
from your heart, and you
offer understanding and comfort
because you have been there.
-I know Yvonne will appreciate
all of these writings and outpourings
of comfort.

Thank you for expressing what we all feel about Yvonne's loss. Nothing can be more devastating than the loss of one's child. I appreciate your rhymed quatrains and your reminding her that "the sun will shine again". I am sorry you lost a granddaughter but pleased you were graced with Sophia a year later. Here's to your offering comfort- Joan

I do understand I will pray for the family and everybody who has lost a child. My third son died during open-heart surgery. It truly tested my faith, but I knew God's love afterward sronger than ever. Thank you for sharing this with us.

As the saying goes, "one should never have to bury their child". Poor Yvonne, it's not only tragic, but it's horrifying, it certainly tests everything we hold dear, loss is a horrid thing, it's bad enough to miss an older person, but a young one...my sympathy to dear Yvonne. Bless your tender heart Sally, blessings Roy
