This senryu, From a Distance, presented as a 5-7-5, makes its point by noting that any distance can be seen as too far to be tolerated.

Present requirements for "social distancing" may lead us in a probably colder society, with feelings just to be shown at a given distance. Your poem reflects that new social relationships will have consequences in expressing love, as kisses cannot be given with masks...
Picture was definitively a great choice!

with a topical theme many will relate to.
Nice use of the expression, "at arm's length."
