Dear Lisa,
This note is from a fellow punster. My name is Cuz. I loved your story about Marlin. That was purfect for me becuase I've spent most of my life on salt and fresh water. It was great you could come up with so many classic fish puns without even being in your, "school." Nobody has ever loved puns more then me because I write poems with 6 lines per vurce. Here's a sample of my style of writing,....
A frog can stay on land or water
though, "Knee-deep!" is where they would aught 'er.
They're often proud but seldom they will gloat.
They brighten lives in many ways
and always give us, "hoppy" days.
The sick ones have a person in their throat.
One animal with pretty features
are horses, they're majestic creatures.
They're loyal and will celdom want to stray.
If it left, you would have remourse
from callin it. You would get, "horse."
They won't say, "Yes," but all they'll say is, "Neigheigheigh!"
That's a sample of my, "worped" sence of humor. Please write me back. It would be great to have a, "punny" friend.
Sincerely, your soon-to-be # 1 Fan-Club, Cuz Roye.

Hey Cuz - I'm pleased you appreciated the fun I had with my story and gave it such a high rating. You enjoy puns too, which means you'll always have fun with your own writing. it is good to make people laugh too. I laughed at the poor sick frog with a person in its throat.

Dear Lisa,
This is Cuz writing back. Thank you for replying to my last email. It's great to here from a fellow punster. Keep writing them, and so will I. Actually, poems are my thing but I need sthe incentive to write some more. Tell me your age, Birthday and some facts about you then I will write you a poem when it gets near. All I need is the date and some facts about you, preferably puns, but I can make up some of my own.
Congratulations on winning the contest. Hopefully I can do that next time. Please write me again and tell me something
about you such as your age, what town you live in, your email address and funny things that have happened to you. I'm a Christian so don't worry. My number is,....1-434-849-8268. Call me sometime, or call me Cuz. Nobody ever calls me, (some people call me bad names), but I want to hear my phone make that beautiful sound that's pure music to my ear. Please give me a ring, (I'm not proposing, just make my phone do that). Thank you.
Sincerely, your # 1 admirer, Cuz,

Hi Cuz,
thank you for your enthusiasm; I can see that you love writing and making puns. Humour is nice to share.
I won't be phoning you because I live in New Zealand thousands of miles away. I will be asleep when you are awake.
Check out my portfolio and profile to know more about me, as I mostly write about things from my personal experience that show my life (I was born in 1953 so have had quite a bit of experience with life). You can write to me by private message that way too if you like.
Good luck with your own writing. Best wishes, LisaMay

I love this one. I love PUnnery. It's one of my favorite kinds of humor. I always think of how there is the drum and cymbals at the end of a comedians one liner. "budda bumppp chhhh Your allusion will draw the reader in immediately. I am voting for this one.

What a load of puns and a story that makes sense out of sushi...
I truly enjoyed the uncountable number of puns. Dory's got a lot going for her it seems! Thank Cod you wrote this!

Non-stop puns. I love it. 356 words, and I lost count of puns after about 50. My favorite... "Cod moves in mysterious ways." I think you have a winner here. Well done.

Thanks for this terrific review. I think I ran amok with puns but I love wordplay... some people may think 'less is more'.

OMG! Can't stop laughing. This is the perfect "Pun-Filled Short Story" and should be memorialized in a cute little book filled with lots of witty artwork! So, so cleverly conceived and well-written! I can't tell you which was my favorite pun because there are just too many to count... Outstanding! Good luck in the contest!
